Reminder – Campus Conversation Feb. 1: A First Look at the Trump Administration: Immigration & Constitutional Law

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,

This week we will continue our Campus Conversation entitled A First Look at the Trump Administration: Immigration & Constitutional Law. The first part, What’s Going On and Why? will occur tomorrow, Wednesday, February 1, noon to 1:00 p.m. in Student Center East, Illinois Rooms A & B, on the third floor.

The panelists are faculty from Northwestern Law School and the University of Chicago Law School: Daniel Rodriguez, Erin Delaney, and Tom Ginsburg. Bios for each can found on the Provost’s website: https://provost.uic.edu/campus-conversation-series-february-2017/.

The panel discussion will be followed by a second part open forum, Can We Imagine a More Just Future? that will take place on Wednesday, February 8, noon to 1:00 p.m. in Student Center East, Room 302. The open forum is an opportunity to exchange viewpoints that builds on the topics discussed during the panel discussion. The open forum is a great opportunity to talk, hear diverse points of view, and learn from one another.

I hope you will join me on tomorrow and next week (Feb 8th), and that you will encourage your friends, colleagues and students to attend as well.
