East + West Research Mixer: Robotics

Dear Colleagues,

Please join faculty from the east and west campuses next week for the third E+W Research Mixer, an event designed to bring UIC faculty together on a monthly basis around particular research topics.

The third event will start off with brief presentations about Robotics followed by time to network and enjoy refreshments. The presentations will be by UIC Faculty:

• Dr. Enrico Benedetti, Department of Surgery, College of Medicine
• Dr. Sabri Cetin, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, College of Engineering
• Dr. Pier Giulianotti, Division of Minimally Invasive, General & Robotic Surgery, College of Medicine
• Dr. Milos Zafran, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, College of Engineering
• Dr. Brian Ziebart, Department of Computer Science, College of Engineering

The mixer will be hosted at the Innovation Center (1240 West Harrison Street) on Thursday, May 11th, from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served.

Reciprocal parking is available in Lot 1B for anyone with a current parking assignment. Entrance to parking is on Harrison, east of Racine. Please pull a ticket to enter the lot, and when exiting show the parking attendant your hang tag for complimentary parking.
