To meet and align with strategic priorities the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, assembles and charges taskforces comprised of faculty, staff, and sometimes students in a wide array of topics and disciplines.

Committee to Reimagine General Education at UIC

This committee will reimagine the General Education Program and establish an innovative, student-centered program that furthers the UIC mission while better preparing students for the realities and challenges of the 21st century.
Agents for Int'l Student Recruitment Taskforce

This taskforce is limited in duration focuses on establishing institutional standards, guidelines, and best practices for UIC when entering into services contracts with agents for international student recruitment.
Orientation and Advising Steering Group

In October 2023 Provost Colley assembled the Orientation and Advising Steering Group to reimagine the relationships between orientation, academic advising and registration in the pathway to enrollment.
