There are plenty of great places to study on and around campus. Below are some suggestions for study locations at UIC
1st floor Circle Lounge Heading link
Located on the first floor tower of Student Center East. Take the elevator down to the 1st floor. Open during building hours.
Montgomery Lounge Heading link
Located on the second floor tower of Student Center East. Open during building hours.
Pier Room Heading link
Located on the second floor of Student Center East beside Dunkin’ Donuts. Microwaves are available for use. Open during building hours.
East Terrace Heading link
Located on the second floor of Student Center East. Take the escalators to the second floor and turn right. Walk towards inner circle, entrance is to the left. Open during building hours.
West Terrace Heading link
Located on the second floor of Student Center East. Take the escalators to the second floor and turn left. Walk towards inner circle, entrance is to the right. Open during building hours.
Inner Circle Heading link
Located on the second floor of Student Center East. Take the escalators to the second floor and turn right or left. Walk behind the escalators until reaching entrance. Microwaves are available for us.Open during building hours.
Commuter Center Heading link
Located on the second floor of Student Center East. Take the escalators to the second floor and turn left. Walk inside inner circle and take the door on the right near Circle Burger. Quiet individual study areas are available. Open during building hours.
