Announcing the Interim Dean of the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs April 29, 2021

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that Professor David Merriman, the James J. Stukel Presidential Professor in the Department of Public Administration, has agreed to serve as the Interim Dean of the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs, beginning August 1, 2021, pending approval by the UI Board of Trustees at the May 2021 meeting. Please join me in thanking and congratulating Dr. Merriman.

Thank you and congratulations to Dean Michael Pagano for his outstanding years of service as Dean of CUPPA and best wishes for his retirement! A search for a permanent dean of CUPPA will commence in late summer/early Fall 2021.
