East + West Research Mixer Sept. 14

E + W Mixer group, Sept. 14

Please join faculty from the east and west campuses for the first E+W Research Mixer of the new semester on Thursday, September 14th. This is an event designed to bring UIC faculty together on a monthly basis around particular research topics to meet and talk about their work in a multidisciplinary setting.

The topic is cancer and the presentations will be by UIC Faculty:

  • Dr. Robin Mermelstein, Professor of Psychology, LAS, and Director of the Institute for Health Research and Policy (IHRP)
  • Dr. David Peace, Hematology/Oncology, College of Medicine
  • Dr. Angela Tyner, Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, College of Medicine
  • Dr. Robert Winn, Director, Cancer Center, College of Medicine

E+W Mixer will be held on Thursday, September 14, from 4:30-6:00 pm at the UIC Innovation Center (1240 West Harrison Street).

Reciprocal parking is available in Lot 1B for anyone with a current parking assignment. Entrance to parking is on Harrison, east of Racine. Please pull a ticket to enter the lot, and when exiting show the parking attendant your hang tag for complimentary parking.
