Tyler Nielsen

Tyler Nielsen serves as the Executive Assistant to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Tyler has more than a decade of professional experience at UIC and is a proud alumnus of the College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts. Before joining The Office of the Provost in 2022, Tyler worked in the UIC Honors College. Tyler earned a BFA in Theatre Performance from the School of Theatre and Music, is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) with the Project Management Institute (PMI), and in 2025 Tyler received the UIC Award of Merit.
